As a soap ingredient, palm oil offers numerous benefits to the skin, as it contains a refatting agent that restores the skin's natural oil, rather than stripping it away like many detergent-based soaps. As an environmentally-friendly and sustainable company, Essential Soapworks only uses RSPO Certified Sustainable Palm Oil.

Coconut oil in soap has many benefits for the skin, including cleansing, moisturizing, and providing antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.

Castor oil increases lather in the soap which a imparts rich and creamy texture leaving a very bubbly feel.

Cocoa butter is rich in fatty acids, which help to deeply hydrate and nourish the skin. It forms a protective barrier that locks in moisture, making it especially beneficial for dry or sensitive skin. The emollient properties of cocoa butter help to soften and smooth the skin, leaving it feeling silky and supple after each use.
