As a soap ingredient, palm oil offers numerous benefits to the skin, as it contains a refatting agent that restores the skin's natural oil, rather than stripping it away like many detergent-based soaps. Castor oil increases lather in the soap which a imparts rich and creamy texture leaving a very bubbly feel.

Pig tallow (lard) functions as a mild cleanser that is highly compatible with the structure of our own natural skin cells with a similar pH as well. It can produce a rich, creamy lather with beautiful cleansing properties resulting in a mild soap with excellent moisturizing and conditioning properties.

Kaolin clay is a great skin cleanser. It helps absorb impurities such as dirt, bacteria, and toxins from your pores and leaves your skin feeling smooth, silky and soft.
